RULES OF MANAGEMENT :
 
At the time of booking, a Handbook will be supplied to the party which contains wealth of information about the Nigamagamam  and also the Rules of the Management.  Parties are advised to go through this book critically so that they get familiar with the particulars specified in the Handbook. However, for the benefit of the parties, some important rules are stated below:-
 
Parties have to pay the rent and the security deposit for the whole or part of the premises they book under different categories (Se Rule 26 of Handbook).  Please see the details of the tariff at the end of this note
The Rent and Security Deposit are payable wholly at the time of booking and no instalments  will be allowed.
The Rent and Security Deposit are payable by Demand Draft or by Account Payee Cheque in favour of the Trust. Payments in CASH are NOT accepted except in cases of extreme personal inconvenience to the party.
Security Deposit payment is intended to cover the expenses of the parties incurred for consumption of Power, Water, payment of service-tax, After adjusting the amount payable by the party under the above three heads, whatever balance remains will be adjusted against the expenses payable by the party towards Maintenance, Additional Security, Standby generators, etc.  (See Rule No. 27 )
In view of the unpredictable nature of expenditure towards consumption of Power, Water  and also the Service-tax, the Security Deposit paid is regarded as an agreed lump sum which will be adjusted against the expenses mentioned above. The parties will not be called upon to pay any further amount towards expenses and the Management will not refund any amount from out of the Security Deposit either.
In the event of the party cancelling the booking, for any reason whatsoever, the rent paid by the party shall be forfeited wholly.  In cases of extreme hardship to the parties, the Trustees  may in their absolute desertion, and taking into consideration  the facts of each case, forfeit only a part of the rent. However, the Security Deposit paid will be refunded to the party on cancellation of the booking by the party
Parties may seek postponement of the events to any further date for reasons of convenience. The request for postponement will be allowed by Management if the date  chosen by the party is found free and vacant.
Requirements of furniture, fittings cooling equipments and other decorative fittings shall be obtained by the parties from the Tent House Contractor who is located in the premises of the Nigamagamam. Parties are NOT allowed to secure their requirements from outside.  Catering requirements shall also be made available by the Tent House Contractor according to the requirements of the parties.  It is compulsory that catering facility is obtained ONLY from the Catering Contractor. Parties are not allowed to bring outside caterers except in cases of extreme inconvenience to them.
Non-vegetarian food is not allowed within the premises of the Nigamagamam.
It is not necessary to burden this write-up with other Rules of Management. Parties are requested to go through the Handbook containing the Rules of Management critically and comply with the requirements.
